Kristin S. Lashua, 40, of Park Hills, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. She was a dietician with Rosedale Green Nursing Home in Latonia, KY and a member of Latonia Christian Church. Kristin was preceded in death by her mother: Thelma “Jodi” New. She is survived by her father: Dennis R. New, Sr.; sons: Aaron Courtney and Elijah Lashua; step-sister: Elise (Richard) Baucum; step-brother: Dennis R. (Janet) New, Jr.; aunts: Colleen (Ronald) Bowen Reese and Pam Bowen; uncle: Keith Bowen; cousin and best friend: Sandra (Josh) Brewer and numerous other cousins. Visitation will be at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11:30 AM until the Memorial Service at 1 PM. We wanted to express our sympathy to you and your family this verse encouraging during our time of loss. “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Jesus referred to himself to as “the resurrection and the life” at John 11:25.

I’ve known Kristin since i was 16 yrs old. A lot has changed over the years but one thing that always stayed the same was her HEART! She will be missed by many… Prayers out to the family

I met kristin for the first time at her Mothers funeral. When Colleen introduced me as her Moms first cousin she hugged me and said “you have teeth just like my Mom”. I know she’s holding hands with her Mom right now 👭.
