Larry "Tiny" Dean Howard, 79, of Independence, KY, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a retired maintenance supervisor with Florence Park Care Center for 16 years, a maintenance technician with Charleston Pines Apartment Complex and later drove for TANK. Tiny enjoyed dancing and was a jack-of-all-trades and perfectionist of each. He was one of eight children. Tiny was preceded in death by his wife: Irene Deatherage Howard and daughter: Connie Sue Spencer. He is survived by his daughter: Karen Irene Wells; grandchildren: Katrina Martin, Billy (Jessica) Wells, Matthew (Kelsey) Wells, Richard Crimmons, Aaron Hopple, Jason Cornett and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery in Hebron, KY along with a military honor guard service. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
