John and Laverne,Paul and Susan were a big part of my childhood and adulthood, John worked with my dad and the families used to get together and go camping. Houston Woods and Indian Lakes. I never remember a time when Laverne was not a part of my life. Growing up with Lois made me feel like Laverne was my older sister too. May the angels take you to Paradise and may you be greeted joyfully by all the Benham and Travis clans. God blesd

Laverne was such a sweet and gentle soul and there will never be another quite like her. We will always remember the Friday Night Gang and all the great times we spent at Barleycorn's solving the problems of the world. It always made us feel so much better after our conversations. RIP, our dear friend, and we will see you later. We will love you always.
