Larry was a good friend for many years. I remember him as a basketball official in the youth league at Dayton high School. I coached there for eight years when Larry was referring. He was always great with the kids. May you rest in peace, my friend.

An inspiration añd conversationalist, Larry's sense of humor and upbeat personality was a welcome sight. My family and I knew him on a personal level, sharing fond memories of him in many stages our our lives. With a warm heart, he would tease us with an, "I saw you first!" exclamation, followed by a fond visit from Big Larry. Truly a loss for all, it is my hope that should an afterlife truly exist, he will be there to greet us with an, "I saw you first!" quip and a big hug from Big Larry. Our condolences for the loss of such a fundamental asset in heart and spirit. We mourn with you.
