Lawrence "Larry" Paul Meyer, 68, of Covington, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was a 1975 graduate of Covington Holmes High School and an auxiliary member of the Marshall-Schildmeyer VFW Post #6095. Larry enjoyed bowling, darts, playing softball and was an all-around sports enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Pat Meyer and brother: Melvin Meyer. Larry is survived by his son: Scott (Destiny) Meyer; siblings: Rich (Sandy) Meyer, Debbie (K.C.) Krug, Kenny Meyer, Jimmy Meyer and Kevin Meyer; grandchildren: Aubrey, Alden and Quorra and several nieces and nephews. Per Larry's request, there will be no funeral services. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family. Larry (& Debbie) and the entire Meyer family were such a big part of my childhood. I loved playing "Runners" and "One Catch All" . His mom showed me how to make a meat loaf and invited me for supper too many times to count. Helping with the fish tank and learning how to shoot pool - too many memories to list them all. I hope he has found peace, my thoughts are with his brothers & sister and the rest of his family - hoping their cherished memories will bring them comfort.
