Leo Henry Trenkamp, 87, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was a member of St. Anthony Parish in Taylor Mill, KY, and a member of Moose Lodge #1469 in Taylor Mill, KY. Leo was a commercial and residential HVAC technician for many years before retirement. He volunteered for many church and community organizations throughout the years, including Boy Scout Troop #733 Leader. Leo was an avid golfer and a Jack of all trades who was often referred to as "Mr. Fix-It". Leo's home was a favorite stop on Halloween as he was known for handing out his famous popcorn. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ferd and Angela Trenkamp; son: Dennis A. Trenkamp and siblings: Donald (Mimi) Trenkamp, Carroll (Cindy) Trenkamp, Pamela (Dave) Finan and Anita (Roger) Vickers. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years: Ginny Trenkamp; children: Gary L. (Brenda) Trenkamp, Barbara A. (Robert) DeVault, Richard T. Trenkamp and Amy L. (Daniel) Hoard; siblings: Ferd (late: Dorothy) Trenkamp, James (late: Dorothy) Trenkamp, David (Cheryl) Trenkamp, Melanie Trenkamp and Elizabeth "Betty" Trenkamp; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon) at St. Anthony Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to St. Anthony Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Leo was so fun to be around! He aways always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. I'm going to miss him that's for sure. My heart and prayers go out to Trenkamp family. RIP Leo

This is a fond farewell to a true and loving friend Leo Trenkamp. I’m sure many people met him at the gate, including Fr Robbin’s and Donna. He is already being missed by his many friends. Sunday breakfasts will never be the same.
