Linda Carol Gross, 78, of Fort Wright, KY, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. She retired as a server with Frisch's Big Boy restaurant after 33 years of service. Linda enjoyed shopping and playing bingo. She loved traveling and spending time with her husband, Tracy. Linda and Tracy were affectionately referred to as 'lefty & righty'. They enjoyed each other's company very much. Linda also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son: Ricky Caldwell and siblings: Janet (Art) Rekewitsch and Leo (living: Kellie) Cauvin. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years: Tracy Gross; children: Alla Faye (Nick) Dilbert, Tracy Lynn Gross, Mark (Kathy) Gross, Sr. and Dena Krebs; siblings: Roger (Myra) Cauvin, Connie (late: Gene) Wilson and Raymond (Peggy) Cauvin; grandchildren: Tyler (Amberlee Lanham) Gross, Chyanne (Jared Mueller) Gross, Mark Gross, Jr., Michael Krebs, Jr., Walter Acevedo, Allison Dilbert, Mia Acevedo and Mason Krebs; great-grandchildren: August Gross, Nadia Mueller, Nora Mueller and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the Catholic Prayer Service at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery in Independence, KY. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family.
