Lisa Louise Donnelly, 64, of Villa Hills, KY, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, August 15, 2025. Lisa was an extremely loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her life to the fullest. She was a 1979 Graduate of Covington Holmes High School and a member of Immanuel Church in Lakeside Park, KY. Lisa climbed the ranks and retired from Procter & Gamble after 35 years of service. She worked her way up from a part-time Administrative Assistant to Senior Human Resources Manager. During 10 years of retirement, Lisa took on a role as an Event Strategist with Maritz Consulting. This position allowed her to travel extensively and have countless great experiences with her husband, Mark - the love of her life. For the past 5 years, Lisa had the privilege of being a grandmother, which she described as her greatest honor. She loved her grandchildren more than anything and would go to any length to get to spend time with them. They loved her dearly. Lisa fought cancer with a smile and a level of poise that was nothing short of inspirational. She passed with grace, fearlessness, dignity and a sense of humor that shined until the end. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents: John and Barb Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years: Mark Donnelly; sons: Andy (Danielle) Huenefeld and Brady (Alison) Huenefeld; grandchildren: Louie, Max and Daphne; cousin: Tim Fessler and "sisters": Sharon Stuard, Susan Buring and Shauna Buring. Lisa is also survived by countless friends from all phases of her life. Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Immanuel Church, 2551 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, KY 41017.
