Lois Ann Jaynes Berkemeier, 91, of Covington, KY, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. Lois loved animals and fostered animals for the Kenton County Animal Shelter. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Edward Berkemeier; daughter: Sandra Lynn Amann; grandson: Brent Amann and sister: Carolyn Wegert. Lois in survived by her children: Paula (Terry) Eibel, Duke (Stephanie) Berkemeier and Sharrie (Doug) Schloemer; grandchildren: Scott (Kelly) Eibel, Jay Eibel, Brad (Joy) Amann, Justin (Jill) Smith, Madison Schloemer and McKayla Schloemer; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and services will be private for family only at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Kenton County Animal Services, 1020 Mary Laidley Drive, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
