Lucille E. Poetter Doyle, age 89, of Independence, KY passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, KY. She was a Sales Clerk with the former Coppins Store in Covington, KY. A member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her 1st Husband: Arthur T. Poetter in 1997. Lucille is survived by her Husband: Kenneth (KC) Doyle of Independence, KY and formerly of Deland, FL. and Summerfield, FL., 3 Daughters: Beverly Hopkins of the State of California, Candy Lytle of Taylor Mill, KY and Sandy Leen of Independence, KY., 8 Grandchildren: Tammy, Brian, Gina, Tara, Chris, Tony, Angie & Adam, also 13 Great Grandchildren. The Visitation will be on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 12 NOON. Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery. We had the fun of getting to know Lucille over the past several years. She was a wonderful lady with a lively sense of humor and great zest for life. It was easy to see how much pride and love she had for her family. She would light up whenever she spoke about them. We know she will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts and minds.
