Fairfield, OH – Margaret D. Cooke, age 85, died Monday, September 30, 2013 at home. She was a secretary for 21 years at General Electric in Houston, TX; Schenectady, NY; King of Prussia, PA; and Cincinnati, OH. She was a member of Tri County Baptist Church since 1977. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roscoe W. Cooke of 40 years who died in 1986 and her son Robert W. Cooke who died in 1968. Margaret always told Roc she would follow him all her life and she did to Japan, Philippines, 7 states and 14 moves. She is survived by her loving daughters, Deborah Diane Kingsbury of Honey Brook, PA, and Jennifer Lynn Sheldon, wife, of Roger Sheldon of Fairfield, OH. Also, eight grandchildren: Steven, Jeannette (Pat), John (Kathleen), Paul, Jim (Kelly), Joe (Allison), Chantelle, Charity, and eight great grandchildren: Nicholas, Avery, Christopher, Evan, Jillian, Joshua, Kara, and baby Sheldon. Visitation will be 10 am until 12 noon on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Tri County Baptist Church 8195 Beckett Rd. West Chester, OH 45069. Service will immediately follow the viewing. Burial and a grave side service will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens of Taylor Mill, KY. Oh, our sweet Marge….She is a dear….She kept our prayer request sheet updated each week for the Joy Class. Marge was a special friend to both Dave and I. I’m remembering your family as you say your final goodbyes, this side of Heaven.
