Mark Allan "Shark" Brefeld, 70, of Walton, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. He was a Marine Corps Veteran who served during the Vietnam Era, achieving the rank of Corporal. Mark was an avid dirt track racing fan and Cincinnati Reds fan. He enjoyed reading the newspaper and spending time with his family and grandkids. Mark was preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Alice Brefeld and brother: Mike Brefeld and identical twin brother Marty Brefeld. He is survived by his sons: Keith (Brenda) Brefeld and Kyle (Jessica) Brefeld; brothers: David (Betty) Brefeld and Doug (Kim) Brefeld and grandchildren: Maxton, Tenley, Grayson, Garrett, Gregory and Gavin. Visitation will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
