Mary M. Mai, 91, a resident of Covington, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Baptist Village Care Center in Erlanger, Kentucky. She was a homemaker, retired sales representative with Avon Cosmetics and a former member of St. Anthony Church in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Mary was preceded in death by her husband: John Mai; Sisters: Alice Jansen and Shanna Jansen and her brother: Jack Jansen. She is survived by her daughters: Liz Mai, Judy Oberding and Nancy Mai; Son: Frank Mai; Sister: Rita Honka; Brother: Bill Jansen; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mary always held a special place in my heart. I met her in 1972 when she came to our apartment door as an Avon lady. She followed us as we moved around in the area until we left the state. Then we kept in touch thru the mail! We even visited her a few times at the BCV while on vacation. Keep her memory alive by telling family stories of her! She was a loving person.
