Mary Loraine Popp, 95, of Latonia, KY passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Providence Pavilion in Covington, KY. She was a member of Holy Cross Church in Latonia, KY, Holy Cross 50 Plus Club and St. Anthony Auxiliary #88. Loraine had embroidered the Baptismal Scapulars for Holy Cross Church since 1990. She played Softball as a teenager and has loved Baseball ever since. Loraine, also, hand made over 20 quilts. She was preceded in death by her Husband: John “Jack” E. Popp; Son: John J. Popp; Grandson: Mark A. Popp; Daughter-In-Law: Linda Popp; 4 Brothers and 3 Sisters. Loraine is survived by her Daughter: Jan Popp; Sisters: Delores Landwehr, Aurelia Fitzpatrick, Jeanette Brady, Audrey DeRosa and Joan (Howard) Stratman; Brothers: Walter (Patricia) Anneken and Raymond (Dorothy) Anneken; Grandchildren: John (Norma) Popp and Andrew Popp; Great-Grandchildren; Jacob Popp and Rachel Popp and many Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Latonia, KY 41015.
