Mauriel “Moe” B. Knasel, 88, of Latonia, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. Moe retired from the B&O Railroad where he was a Brakeman/Switchman. He was a member of St. Anthony Church in Taylor Mill, KY and he loved coaching softball and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Moe is survived by his Daughters: Marlene Jump, Jackie Poynter and Amy Rennie; 5 Grandsons; 2 Great-Granddaughters; Sister: Joanne Koch and Brothers: Jim (Mary Jane) Knasel and Marvin (Liz) Knasel. Visitation will be on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Interment and an Honor Guard Service will be at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to www.cancer.org. Moe was a very important part of my life for over 30+ years. He was a wonderful, loving and caring man. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. He left me with many precious memories. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
