Melba R. Ahrman McCune, age 89 of Latonia, KY passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice in Fort Thomas, KY. She was a Charter Member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Latonia, KY, where she was also a Sunday School Teacher. She Retired from Dow Chemical Company as a mail clerk. She was preceded in death by her Husband: William P. McCune in 1999 and a Niece: Cathy Niswander. Melba is survived by her Daughters: Kimberly (Joe) Sugrue of Beavercreek, OH and Tenley (Robert) Bittner of Erlanger, KY; Sister: Mary Jo (Larry) Symes of Tucson, AZ; Grandson: Daniel Bittner of West Chester, OH; Nieces: Brenda Griffon, Beverly (Gary) Vance, Barbara (Dennis) Abernathy and Sharon Rickert; Nephews: Les (Sandra) Symes, Garry Symes and Bob Niswander and her companion of 16 years, Murphy her Cat. The Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 9 AM until the Funeral Service at 10 AM. Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery. I love how much you favor your mom in her picture. I’m sure this is still a shock. My prayers for your comfort and peace are with you and your family as you adjust .
