Melody Jean Wasson, 63, of Covington, KY passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020. She was a retired machinist with Johnson Controls. Melody enjoyed listening to country music and attending country music concerts. She was preceded in death by her parents: Warren Wasson and Wilma Hatton and sister: Sheri Wasson. Melody is survived by her brothers: Don Tomlin, Randall Tomlin, Michael Hatton and Chubby Wasson, Jr.; sister: Vicki (Rick) Jenkins and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY. Memorials are suggested to Kenton County Animal Services, 1020 Mary Laidley Road, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. Mel, you seen me at my worst and you seen the better side of me and you loved me regardless! All you wanted was for me to better myself! You just told me how proud you were of me and ill continue to make you proud! I love you so much and will miss you terribly! Rest in peace beautiful!

I feel as f I knew you my sister Phyllis Gilbert considered you a friend , worked with you as well ... spoke highly of you , I’m sure Phyllis never thought that you would leave so soon a friend still to young ...❤️ Caring as well to everyone such early my friend.
