Melvin E. Forsyth, 90, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020. He was a retired Dispatcher and Clerk with the L&N Railroad, a former Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Latonia, KY where he was active in many of their ministries. Melvin was a former Scout Master, bee keeper, volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Action Ministries and was well known in the square dance community as a dancer and caller. He was preceded in death by his former wife: Rosemary Forsyth and siblings: Orvan Forsyth, Alberta Porter and Mary Parrish. Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 32 years: Mary J. Forsyth; beloved children: David (Donna) Forsyth, Cindy (Mark) Easler, Joseph (Karen) Forsyth, Mary Elizabeth Forsyth, Tina (Blair) Thompson, Terri (Joe) Iacobucci, Michael (Lisa) Iacobucci, David (Linda) Iacobucci, Eric Iacobucci and Vincent (Jeannetta) Iacobucci; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM (Noon). MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Interment with Honor Guard Service at John's Hill Cemetery, Highland Heights, KY. Memorials are suggested to Action Ministries, 4375 Boron Drive, Covington, KY 41015.
