Melvin “Jake” Charles Pebworth, 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Jake was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and worked as a Senior Vice President in the Banking Industry until his retirement. He enjoyed eating at different restaurants, going to the movies and loved spending time with his dog Blaze. Jake was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Ruth Tumey Pebworth; parents: Charles and Mildred Pebworth; mother and father-in-law: Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Tumey and cousin: Father Gary Miller. He is survived by his friend/daughter: Sheri Wasson and Cousins: Ronnie (Marsha) Miller and Donnie (Jan) Miller. A Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
