Michael Carl Luken, age 50, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Sun., September 16, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice in Edgewood, KY. He was in Sales with Janelle Concrete. He was an avid Florence Freedom Fan where he was a season ticket holder since the team began playing. A member of the Florence Freedom (Wall Rats), an avid Fisherman, avid Notre Dame Football Fan and an avid UK Basketball Fan. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of St. Anthony Church in Taylor Mill, KY. Michael was preceded in death by his Mother, LaVera J. Luken in 2002. Michael is survived by his Father, William H. Luken of Taylor Mill, KY; Sister: Barb (Dan) Stewart of Covington, KY; Brother: Bill (Lisa) Luken of Taylor Mill, KY; 3 Nieces: Adrienne (Ray) Dabbelt of Independence, KY, Shannon Stewart of Ludlow, KY and Christina (Ryan) Walston of Petersburg, KY; 2 Nephews: Adam Luken of Louisville, KY and Matt (Amy) Luken of Latonia, KY; 2 Great Nieces: Allie Stewart and MacKenzie Dabbelt; 2 Great Nephews: Matthew & Mason Luken. The Visitation will be on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at St. Anthony Church 485 Grand Avenue Taylor Mill, KY 41015 from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON. An Honor Guard Service and Interment will take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. I am the son of Glenna Krift Kramer. We were very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing, Please know that our family;s thoughts and prayers are with you.
Mom would like to be with you but is unable to. She has been in rehab for the past mo after a fall at home. She had her femer broken in several places….and has a long road ahead.
