Mildred Gar Maher, 97, of Independence, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. She enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. Mildred was preceded in death by her beloved husband: John Thomas Maher. She is survived by her daughter: Marcia (Bill) Saalfeld; sons: Jerry (Marita) Maher and Thomas (Brenda) Maher; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
