Monica Loretta Zimmerman, 83, of Latonia, KY passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. She was a retired nanny and member of Holy Cross Church for 60 plus years. Monica enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting and years ago taught sewing at Holy Cross High School. She was dedicated to her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Monica was preceded in death by her husband: William Zimmerman and infant son: Joseph Zimmerman. She is survived by her children: Katherine Vonder Meulen, William Christopher (Jayne) Zimmerman, Andrew Paul (Cindy) Zimmerman and Nicholas John (Dana) Zimmerman; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon). Inurnment will take place at a later date at Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to: Sacred Heart Convent, PO Box 2040, Cullman, Alabama, 35056.
