Nancy Lee McCabe, 94, a long-time resident of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. She retired as a school teacher with St. Benedict School in Covington, KY. Full obituary information is forthcoming. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents: Vernon and Garnet Murphy; husband: Thomas E. McCabe; son: Daniel McCabe and siblings: Libby (Bob) Lemlich, Marilyn (Harold) Robinson and Earl (Linda) Murphy. She is survived by her children: Dr. M. Eileen (David) Birch, Catherine (Jack) Tiffany, Karen "Boo" McCabe, Sharon McCabe and Dolly McCabe; grandchildren: Katie (Andy) Ro, Nick (Kate) Hurm, Sean (Katrina) Pflum, Evan Birch, Dr. Quinn Birch and Brian (Kyle Black) Henry; two great-granddaughters: Lainie Ro and Riley Pflum along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to Kenton County Animal Services, 1020 May Laidley Road, Covington, KY 41017.
