Nicholas “Nick” F. Carlin, Jr., 82, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. He retired with Cincinnati Gas & Electric as a Senior Electrical Test Engineer and he was a member of St. Patrick Church. Nick is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years: Barbara Carlin: son: Michael F. (Brenda) Carlin; daughter: Linda (Frank) Lang; grandchildren: Anna Lang, Clare Lang, Whitney Walker and Courtney Hobbs and great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Hobbs and Jay Hobbs. A Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until Prayers at 7:00 P.M. at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery.
