Norma Joan Delaney (nee Davis), 88, of Ryland Heights, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. She was a member of Victory Baptist Temple in Ryland Heights, KY. Norma retired as the Director of Nursing for Regency Manor in Independence, KY, after 18 years of service. Prior to that, she was the Director of Nursing for The Washington Nursing Home in Cincinnati, OH, for 8 years. Norma dedicated a total of 50+ years to the healthcare industry. She was active in outreach ministry in nursing homes throughout the Northern Kentucky area and the Fairhaven Rescue Mission, along with her husband, Dan. Norma had a deep devotion and love for her family. She was always there to support them and never missed any of their events. Norma was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Grace Davis; siblings: Helen (Buster) Taylor, Fred Davis, and Frank Davis. She is survived by her loving husband: Dan Delaney; children: Daron Brown, Angela (Doug) Swikert, Derek Brown, Richard (Diana) Brown, and Joshua Shelton; step-children: Chris (Andrea) Delaney, Brian (Kim) Delaney and Shannon Delaney; siblings: Bobbi Wolfe and Ronnie Davis; 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the Northern Kentucky Nurses Honor Guard Service at 11:45 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association c/o www.alz.org.
