Ralph L. Vieth, 94, of Fort Wright, KY, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019. He was a a retired pharamacist and served his country as a Lieutenant in the Army during World War II and continued serving in the Army Reserve. Ralph was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, a former Taylor Mill Council Person, a race horse owner and horse racing fan. He was preceded in death by his son: Dennis Vieth; sisters: Frances Kemen and Augusta Ortwein and brothers: George Vieth and Joseph Vieth, Jr. Ralph is survived by his sons: Barry Vieth, Jerry (Mary Todd) Vieth and Wayne (Carolyn Kallmeyer) Vieth; daughter-in-law and caregiver: Lynn Vieth as well as 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017, on Thrusday, February 14, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Entombment and Honor Guard Service: St. Mary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017. I am so very sorry for your loss! I was a Pharmacy Technician that worked with Ralph at the hospital...We remained friends for 41 years...I always told him he was my second Dad. He is now at peace and may God bless Ralph, his family and friends. ??
