Randolph "Randy" Arlen Beach, 91, of Latonia, Ky passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by the love of family and friends. Randy was a retired trucker with the Teamsters Local #100 with 35 years invested. Randy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, SFC with D Company Wolfhound/Regiment 27th Infantry from 1952 - 1954. He was in Communications on the front line. Randy was past Post Commander and Life Member of Marshall Schildmeyer VFW Post 6095 in Latonia, Ky. He was fundamental in the vision for the Korean War Memorial at Ritte's corner in Latonia, Ky that he was very proud of. He was also a member of American Legion #203 and he was a Kentucky Colonel. Randy was a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church and past Deacon. Randy married the love of his life, Frances, on February 18, 1950 and they had two children, Robin and Missy. Randy loved to fish at Lake Erie and numerous lakes across Kentucky. He loved to travel and enjoyed the beach, Gatlinburg and driving out West. Randy was a history buff and loved to watch Gunsmoke and MASH. Randy was known as being a kind hearted man and a man of few words - if he was talking, you had better listen because it was meant to be heard. Of all the accomplishments that Randy had, he was sure proud to be called Pop Paw or Pops by his only two grandchildren Morgan and Logan whom he thought the world of and they loved him immensely. Randy lived a full great life and loved to have a good time shared with family and friends. Randy was preceded in death by his parents: Randolph and Myrtie Beach; his wife: Frances Hutton Beach; and Son in Law: Kevin Tyree. He is survived by daughters: Robin Beach-Tyree and Missy Beach-Sweeney; Granddaughter: Morgan Gilbert (Kyle); and Grandson: Logan Sweeney; brother: Francis "Bo" Beach (Connie); and sister: Deannie Wilson (Harry); several nieces and nephews; and companion: Cathy Frost. A visitation will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 10:00AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), Ky. Burial with Military Honors will follow at New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial donations in Randy's name may be made to Marshall Schildmeyer VFW, 343 East 47th Street, Covington, Ky 41015. I am saddened to lose my "Uncle" Randy. So many great memories with him, my family, and his two beautiful girls. Robin and Missy, my prayers are with you, Morgan and Logan. He lived a long a fulfilling life and he is now back in the arms of Aunt Francis. We will miss you Randy.
