Robert “Bob” Gene Townsend, 80, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. He was a memeber of Latonia Christian Church and he was a retired GM Employee. Bob loved to play minature golf, he enjoyed walking and horse racing. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years: Mrs. Sara Townsend; daughters: Karen Kittleman and Laura (Michael) Pooner; sons: Brad (Becky) Townsend and Tim Townsend; 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Latonia, KY 41015 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Latonia Christian Church, 3900 Decoursey Avenue, Latonia, KY 41015.
