Ruth Curley (Nee Sumner) passed from this life August 24, 2015 at her home in West Covington, Kentucky. She was born January 9, 1926 in Yamacraw, Kentucky. Ruth enjoyed growing and canning her own vegetables. In her life, she worked as a professional seamstress and a caterer. She was preceded in death by her Husband: James Robert Curley, Parents: Roscoe and Gertie Sumner; Brothers: Raymond Sumner and Roy Oscar Sumner. Ruth is survived by her Children: Charlene Paul, Doylene “Dee” (Darrel) Turner, Arnold (Karen) Roundtree; Step-Children: Michael (Anita) Curley, Carole (Bill) Veringa and Patrick (Lisa) Curley; Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren and Sisters: Ruby (The Late: Ralph) Jones and Adalene (Oddos) Morris. She had many friends and all who knew her loved her. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 2:00 PM until the Funeral Service at 3:30 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will be on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. Memorials to be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
