Ruth Helen Cathers, 93 of Ludlow, KY passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at her residence. Ruth was born on May 2, 1930 in Pittsburg, KY to the late William and Ella Langford. She was a member of First Evangelical Methodist Church in Latonia, KY. Ruth enjoyed bowling, reading, painting, and collecting Knick knacks and antiques. She was preceded in death by her children: Virginia Ziegler; Tammy Sue Cathers and Carol Lynn Cathers. Ruth is survived by her daughters: Ella Jean (Michael) Davis and Sonja Gail Hughes; grandchildren: Deborah, Robert, Dawn, Scott, John, Meagan, Bernie, Morgan, and Jessica; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and step-children: Judy, Mike, and Ann. A visitation will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Memorials in Ruth's, memory, are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
