Ruth Winterman, 85, of Independence, KY passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at St. Charles Community. She retired as an administrative assistant with St. Elizabeth Family Practice Center in Edgewood, KY and was past President of the Kentucky Association of Medical Assistants. At the age of 53 Ruth received her bachelor’s degree from Thomas More College. After retirement she worked part time at Holy Cross High School. Ruth was a member of St. Anthony Church in Taylor Mill, KY and she enjoyed golf, pie baking, quilting and spending time with her family and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband: Richard J. Winterman and her sister: Goldie Michels Manning. She is survived by her daughter: Susan (Tom) Murray; son: David (Tricia) Winterman; sister: Helen Vincent; brother: James Bosse and grandchildren: Patrick (Grace Lerner) Murray, Jack Murray, Michael Murray and Maureen Murray. Visitation will be at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Anthony Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10 AM. Entombment: Mother of God Cemetery. To the winter man family. I am sorry to hear about the passing of your mother and sorry I couldn’t make it do to being on vacation. She will be missed by many. My thoughts aND prayers go out to all of you.
So sorry to hear of the passing of this beautiful, caring lady. She and Mom and Dad and Dick were such great friends and had many good times together. If Mom were still able, I know she would be mourning her loss.
