Sherri Lynn Runyan, 50, of Independence, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. She was a Senior Account Executive with Assured Partners Insurance, (formerly Crawford Insurance) and a member of St. Augustine Church. Sherri enjoyed scrapbooking and coaching her children's baseball and softball teams. She loved spending time with her family, watching her children's sporting events and celebrating holidays, especially Christmas. She was preceded in death by her son: Cory Richardson and father-in-law: Rick Runyan. Sherri is survived by her loving husband: Rick Runyan; children: Collin Richardson, Logan Runyan and Sierra Richardson; father: Steven (Cindy) Franzen; mother: Ruth (Vic) Hessling; siblings: Dawn (Jim) Hardy, Justin (Emily) Franzen and Rachael (Jacob) Klapheke; father and mother-in-law: Gary and Kathy McArter; sister-in-law: Christy (Jeff) Ware and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 12:15 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Augustine Church, 1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington, KY 41014. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY.
