Shirley Ann Burton, 72, of Independence, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was a retired Registered Nurse, Certified Scuba Diver, loved casino gambling, bingo, traveling and all games. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Gene Burton. Shirley is survived by her Daughter: Dianna (Patrick) Sowers-Sturgill; Sons: Scott (Karen) Burton and Michael Burton; Sister: Mary (Ricky) Benton; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 11:00 AM until Funeral Services at 12:00 PM NOON at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, OH. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Road Edgewood, KY 41017.
