Shirley Ann Kroger, 78, of Latonia, KY passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Rosedale Green Nursing Home in Latonia, KY. She retired as an Assistant Supervisor with Toddler Inn affiliated with St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Shirley was a member of Holy Cross Church in Latonia, KY, Golden Girls and 50/50 Club both with Holy Cross Church. Shirley is survived by her Loving Husband: John “Jack” Kroger, Sr.; Daughters: Bonnie (Doug) Matherly and Angie (John) Siemer; Sons: Nick (Melanie) Kroger, Jack (Janet) Kroger, Jr., Dougie Kroger and Bernard (Victoria) Kroger; 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 1:00 PM until Catholic Prayers at 4:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home 11 East Southern Avenue Covington, KY 41015. Catholic Blessing will take place Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY. Interment will be at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. We send our condolences, Connie C. Loomis and Valerie J. Loomis ( maiden names) and from a deceased sibling John H. Loomis. We are the half siblings of Shirley Anne Kroger on her fathers side, John V. Loomis, He was her father and our father by a different marriage. We always wanted to meet her.
