Terry Lynn Patton, 63, of Belleview Bottoms, KY passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. He was a loving and dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Terry was also a very dedicated worker and instilled a strong work ethic in his sons. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and playing solitaire on his phone. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Marcella Patton and brothers: William Patton and Clinton Patton. Terry is survived by his sons: Scott (Lauren) Patton and David (Meredith) Patton; siblings: Linda (Winford) Sheperd, Charles (Kathy) Patton, Charlene (Joe) Grider and Cynthia (Jim) Scott and grandchildren: Olivia, Makenna, Aubrey, Chloe, Cooper, Cohen, Wyatt and Lucas. A memorial celebration of his life will be scheduled for a later date.

Terry, I’m going to miss you, Buddy. I’m miss meeting up at o-dark-thirty to head into the woods, evenings fishing in local farm ponds, or our trips to Rabbit Hash on the bikes. I am grateful to have known you and been able to call you my friend for so many years. Rest In Peace, Terry.

Terry, You were like a father to me when I felt like others had let me down. I always felt welcomed and safe whenever I visited you in Petersburg. You taught me many things like how to drive a car, how to shoot a gun, how to frog fish, and how to be a stronger person. You'll never know how much you meant to me and how much I appreciated all of your lessons and wisdom. I'm glad you're finally out of pain and resting easy. Love you, Sambo

Dad, I feel like it was just yesterday we were standing at the door while I prayed over you. I took you on as my other "Dad" years ago and never let you go. I will miss our talks and your concerns. We will rest easy knowing you are no longer in pain and too tired to fight another day. Fly High and Free until we meet again, I love you and you will be forever missed.
