Thomas L. Franxman, 74, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 16, 2016. He was a member of St. Benedict Church and the former Owner of Fleet Tire. Tom was a graduate of Xavier University, a member of the Xavier All for One Club, a fan of Xavier Basketball and a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Benedict Church. Tom was preceded in death by his parents: Leo and Florence Franxman and brother: James Franxman. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Patricia “Patsy” Franxman; sons: Tom (Brandy) Franxman, Tim (Kimberly) Franxman and Mike (Sara) Franxman; daughters: Karen (J.) Burke, Kim (John) Martin and Kristy (Craig) Dailey; sister: Kathy (Bill) Danneman; sister-in-law: Sandy Franxman; 17 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 P.M. at St. Benedict Church, 338 East 17th Street, Covington, KY 41014. We were shocked to hear of Tom’s passing. It is such a loss for everyone who knew him. Your strong family will survive and your faith will hold all of you together. The St. Benedict community will always be there for all of you. I try not to think of Tom leaving us but God receiving him. Like Cov Cath Tom had a “spirit that will not die.” Pam and I will pray for Tom and your family.

Sending thoughts and prayers to the Franxman family at this difficult time. I had the pleasure working w Tom at Comair. He is one man I can honestly say always had a smile on his face and one hard worker! He worked circles around me! He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tom once I became a member of St. Bens. I am so thankful that God allowed us to cross paths. One of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Heaven is much brighter!
Tom was a bright shining star! When I first met him at St. Benedict church I knew we would get along fabulously. He reminds me of my own father in his intelligence, integrity, and faith. Peace, prayer and live to your family.
