Tom was a dear friend from R.C. Hinsdale through our time as roomates @ EKU. So many fond memories, particularly from high school and college. We all loved Tom and embraced his eccentricities as they were. He was a unique individual and I am glad to have known him. He was our brother and our friend.

Is this the Gallagher family that lived on 41st St. in Latonia? I knew Mr. & Mrs. Gallagher, sons Andy, Tom and Mike and daughter Mary Jo. I’m sure it must be the same family from the family names. Have many happy memories of seeing the family grow up. My prayers and sympathy to all.
Would love to hear from someone in the family.

Tom, Judy, Kathy and Andy, I am very shocked and saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. There will always be many fond memories of the old gang hanging around Tom back in the day and him just cracking everyone up. He made a lasting impression on me as a young person, with his unique and clever humor, and I will always remember sitting around with he and Andy and laughing until our faces and stomachs ached. It was truly one of the brightest places of my youth. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending much love to all of you …

Jeff Wyatt - Nov 29, 2012

Dear Gallagher Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Tommy’s passing. Please take solace in knowing that even after all these years apart, the mention of his name still sends a stream of great memories through my mind. Tommy was a great friend of my youth, and I am a better person for having known him. Even in our youth, it was obvious that his intellect, wit and humor were a gift to be enjoyed by those of us who were lucky enough to consider him a friend.
Respectfully,
Jeff Wyatt

Tom, Judy, Kath and Andy,
I am shocked and saddened to see this. My sincere condolences to you and the rest of the family. You all were like a second family to me and Tom was a big part of that as well. So many fun nights spent with Andy and Tom and the rest of the gang watching wrestling and just generally goofing around.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Our love Nd thoughts are with you all.

Tom & Judy,
I’m so sorry! Tommy was a special person and did soo much-medical school , residency and working w/ a unique population of patients. Despite aches and pains and a chronic medical condition, he was sharp-witted, fun and did more than most do in a lifetime. I will always have fond memories for Tommy at TMC and UK. I love your family and feel for your loss. He will no longer be in pain! Love, Peggy
