Virginia R. Guenther Volpenhein, age 90 of Fort Wright, KY passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at St. Charles Care Center. A member of St. John Church in Covington, KY, Fort Wright Hilltoppers, Avid Cincinnati Reds Fan and Bengals Fan, Former Co-Owner with her Late Husband, Edward J. Volpenhein, Sr. (1999) of Cottage Cafe which was home of the original Cottage Athletic Club. Virginia is survived by her Daughter: Charlene (Tim) Dailey of Sarasota, FL; Sons: William J. Volpenhein of Dublin, Ohio, Ted (Linda) Volpenhein of Taylor Mill, KY and Donald (Amanda) Volpenhein of Covington, KY; 7 Grandchildren: Kimberly Eilerman, Shawn Dailey, Traci Volpenhein, Jeffrey Volpenhein, Tim Volpenhein, David Volpenhein and Clay Volpenhein and 4 Great Grandchildren. The Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 9 AM until the Catholic Blessing at 11 AM.
