Wallace B. Allen, age 93 of Lakeside Park, KY passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, KY. He was a Retired Fire Inspector with Insurance Services of Ohio. A 30 year Volunteer with Fort Mitchell Fire Department, Initiated Fire Safety Program for local schools and Graduated from UC with a Chemical Engineering Degree. Wallace is survived by his Wife: Gloria Allen of Lakeside Park, KY; Daughters: Bonnie (Michael) Duffey of Cincinnati, OH, Yvonne (John) Hemphill of Hampton, NH, Joni (Andy) Burns of Alexandria, KY, Terri (James) Turner of Independence, KY and Vikki (Gary) Rose of Crescent Springs, KY; 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. The Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 5 PM until the Memorial Service at 6:30 PM. Memorials to: www.autismspeaks.org. Gloria and Wally were much loved surrogate grandparents to our 3 kids. They would do anything to help us out including finding missing dogs and keeping our house key available for our youngest who could not hold on to his own! Wally will be greatly missed by my family and by all their neighbors. He was a terrific guy!
Mr. Allen always made me feel like I was the best person on earth. I’ll miss you. What a great man…and that hair!:)
Best father-in-law a guy could ever hope for! Wonderful, loving, caring, giving and highly inteligent man. We will miss you here on earth, and await the day we reunite in Heaven.
