William "Bill" Clay Kells, 77, of Independence, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He was a member of Colonel Clay Masonic Lodge #159 F&AM and was Owner Operator of Bill's Termite & Pest Control. Bill enjoyed fishing and classic cars. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Clay and Lucy Kells; wife: Darlene Marie Napier Kells and siblings: Mary Kells, Stella (Russell) Stamper, Benny Kells, Emmett Earl Kells, Sam Bailey and Johnny Ray Kells. He is survived by his children: Rod (Carrie) Kells, John (Rhonda) Kells and Christa Kells; sister-in-law: Kay Bailey; grandchildren: Heather Mae Kells, Dillon Kells, Emily Marie Kells, William Trey Scharf and Anna Marie Scharf; several nieces and nephews and his loving dog: Lulu. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 4:00 PM until the Masonic Service at 5:45 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 6:00 PM.
