My thoughts and prayers are with the whole Vogelpohl family. I remember Bill well from my dealings with him when I was the Fire Chief of what’s was then Southern Hills. He also worked for me at Summitt Welding. We had great times at all of the events that we were involved in together. He had a very outgoing personality, and I am sure he will be missed at home and in the community.

It was with deep regrets that I read of Bill’s passing. For many years when I was Chief of Hebron VFD, I had the pleasure of working with Bill through the Kenton-Boone Firefighters Educational Assoc. and the Northern Kentucky Firefighters Assoc. He was a good friend and a devoted firefighter and I am sure he will be missed by his family, his friends, and the fire service.

Note to my friend Billy….enjoy the view of our race weekend – you have the best seat in the house. No need for sunglasses or any others for that matter .
We in our own way (if not together)will celebrate our once annual pilgrimage and raise a glass to celebrate our good times we had together. Thanks for taking us along with you on the ride – we miss you already.
Here’s to 20 years of racing together (maybe 25 right Todd).
