Wilma "Jeannie" Jean Smith, 88, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Patrick Parish and the Covington Moose Lodge #1469 in Taylor Mill, KY. Jeannie grew up in Independence, KY working in her family's business, the former Wilson's Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde V. Smith; parents: Charles and Margaret Wilson and twin sisters: Mary Ann Meiman and Jo Ann Schoborg. Jeannie is survived by her children: Steve (Jayne) Smith, Rae Jean (Geno) Hiller and Jan (Rich) Steele; grandchildren: Cassidy (Trent) Kastensmidt, Max Smith, Lauren (Brandon) Nutini, Andrea (Jeff) Fornadley, Nick (Kara) Hiller, Malorie Steele and Savannah (Nate) Powell and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at St. Patrick Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 from 11:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM.
