John H. Schunder, age 84 of Park Hills, KY passed away on Wed., March 28, 2012 at Providence Pavilion in Covington, KY. He Retired as a Purchasing Agent with General Electric in Evendale, OH. He was a member of Holy Cross Church and an Army Veteran. John is survived by his wife of 61 years: Patricia Schunder of Park Hills, KY, Sons: Douglas Schunder of Crestview Hills, KY, Gregory Schunder of Villa Hills, KY and Scott Schunder of Erlanger, KY, Sister: Joan Humphreys of Villa Hills, KY, Brother: Gerald Schunder of Park Hills, KY and 2 Grandchildren. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 9 AM at Holy Cross Church 3612 Church Street Latonia, KY 41015. Greg, you and your family brought such joy to your dad, and to many other people. He was a lucky man to have such a devoted son. John was such a happy person and a real treat to be around. He is truly missed, as well as, the visits from you and your family. Blessings to you all.
I found out from Doug about his father dying. I would see him and his mother coming into my Kroger store where i work. He talked about having to look after his mom while his dad was in a nursing home. They seemed like a loving close family. I am so sorry for their loss.
